Change is the New Constant
As we enter the fourth quarter of 2021, it reminds us that it has been more than 18 months since the
COVID-19 pandemic has taken its toll across the globe. The year has posed challenges for all of us with Singapore going into lockdowns, imposing travel restrictions resulting in economic slowdown as businesses and individuals struggled to come to terms with the new normal. But progress is still underway. Singapore has been resilient with many positives that the year has witnessed. With over 80% of the population now fully vaccinated, air travel services are slowly reopening albeit with some strict protocols, businesses have adapted to incorporate innovative operating models, embracing flexibility and allowing employees to work remotely to meet the challenges brought forth with the pandemic. At Helmi Talib, we had to deal with the challenges head on by showing dexterity in responding and finding solutions to every problem that stood in our way. By understanding that change is the only constant, we have evolved to create an environment that allows our employees to move with the tide and not get stuck in doing things the same way. At the same time, let us also be realistic in our approach and acknowledge that not all challenges that we take on will necessarily end up in successful resolution. There is no reason to sit on the side-lines with the fear of failing. The key is to lay the foundation of confidence today to achieve sustainable growth, even if the result might appear only in the future. While circumstances may change, Helmi Talib Group remains firm in its commitment to bring forth the best of services. And that is what we will continue to do.
